Save State / Load State bug

Post by TurboTsunami »

Hello,

if i save a state the extention of the file is e.g. .000 but if i want to load it, snes9x tries to load the same file with the extension .zst instead of .000, which doesnt exist. Whats the problem here? Im using version 1.53 for windows. With 1.52 it was fine O.o

I have figured it out. If you use umlauts in the Saves-Path then you will get this error. With 1.52 it was fine.

It's a known issue that will be fixed in the next version. You can use the latest testbuild until then.

As for the ".zst" error message: snes9x win tries to load .00x first, then it falls back to older save extensions and displays that error message. I'll fix that (since zst files are no longer supported anyway).

Well... I've just now tested changing a save state's extension from .005 to .zs5 and the emulator loaded it normally. Didn't test with a ZSNES native save state, though (just a renamed SNES9X one).
