Save State Selection Screen Bypass?

Post by NessMudkip »

Hi, I just got snes9x on Mac OS X, and it's easily the best snes emulator I've used except one thing. Is it just me being stupid or do you have to open the save state picker every time you want to load a state? Is there a way to make it more like zsnes's save state system? Any help would be appreciated.

Typically pressing any key from F1 to F9 will automatically load the previously created state(s). There's no popup menu like Zsnes as far as I know.

In Windows it's File > Save/Load Game Position > Menu to pick 1-10 from.

What operating system are you using? 32 or 64bit? Version of Snes9x? Is the text at the bottom of the window white when you load the game?

Save state selection screen is for mac port only. You can't bypass it.
