Rate this one as a minor annoyance, but is there some way I can edit the configuration file so that Snes9x will hide the taskbar when I go to fullscreen? If I right-click on the "Snes9x" tab in the taskbar, it hides it, but I'd really be interested if there's a way to automate this process.

I'm running Snes9x v1.53 in Windows XP, by the way.

That is odd behavior; I have never had that. I assume you're talking the bar that contains the list of programs you currently have running, a clock, and the start button? I just to make sure. :)

i run into that bug occasionally. as you've seen, switching out of and back into Snes9x resolves it.

however, occurrence is inconsistent.

he reads the forums, he'll see it. there's no reason to escalate.

a bug report with no consistent way to reproduce isn't terribly useful to a developer.

although question for OP - what make if graphics adapter are you running (AMD/ATI, nVIDIA, Intel, other)?

ok, so it's not a driver-specific thing (my primary machine is using a Radeon HD6850).

Maybe it has to do with when he is switching to different monitor resolutions when going in/out of fullscreen?

odditude is correct; I'm running the emulator in my monitor's native resolution, so there's no switching.

I get the same issue when switching to fullscreen. Perhaps its caused by the way SNES9x does fullscreen but I don't have a clue.
