I've had Snes9X for awhile now and it's worked perfectly until recently. There's been some horrible lag that makes every game I own nearly unplayable. Updating it to version 1.53 helped a little, but not much. Here are my display settings:

General
Output mode: OpenGL
Fullscreen: off
Emulate Fullscreen: on
Maintain aspect ratio: off
Bilnear filtering: off
Show frame rate: off
Vsync: off

Output Image Processing
None
Hi Res: none

Frame skipping: automatic

all Snes Image effects are off

Use shader: off

I've tried emulating in fullscreen and that didn't work. I've tried muting it and all that did was make a horrible buzzing sound whenever I play (which is another problem I'm having) I tried putting the speed at 16.7, which worked yesterday, but now isn't helping either. Any suggestions?

By lag, do you mean slow framerate or do you mean delay between when you press a button and when it reacts?
