I searched to see if this has already been asked, if so I apologize.

I have a droid with Snes9x EX (1.4.2) that uses .00, .0A, etc. file endings. I'm also running Snes9x on my mac with .000.frz files. Can I use either files with the other device? e.g, Can I use the droid saves on my mac OR the mac saves on my droid?

Snes9x 1.52 and newer save states will not be compatible with Snes9x 1.51 and older save states.

What operating system are you using? 32 or 64bit? Version of Snes9x? Is the text at the bottom of the window white when you load the game?
