Mac, Snes9x and no OpenGL support

Post by stpmcgnr »

I'm using Mac OS X and have no OpenGL support. When I try running Snes9x in direct modes it turns purple and compresses the video to only half the screen. Any ideas? I can't get OpenGL support so thats out of the question.

What operating system are you using? 32 or 64bit? Version of Snes9x? Is the text at the bottom of the window white when you load the game?

Haven't played Snes9x for a long time so I'm no expert but I've just been playing Donkey Kong Country on my 1st Gen Mac Pro running OS X 10.6.2 and OpenGL works fine for me now just as it always did.

There are bigger issues with your system if you don't have OpenGL available.

Snes9x 1.52 for Mac can't run without OpenGL.
