Okay, i know vista is just awful, but i'm stuck with it for at least a week because my xp computer is being fixed. The problem i'm having, is that when i try to record an .avi video using the snes9x recorder, i get the message 'snes9xW has stopped working'. I know it's because of vista, because this 'never' happened on my reliable xp computer. I'm just wondering if anybody knows of any way to fix this.

I even tried downloading version 1.43 but still no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Make sure that FMOD DSound output is the sound driver in Snes9x.

That's the first thing i tried when i got snes9x, it improves the sound quality, but i still get the error message.
