The save files are currently stored in the same directory as the rom, .srm for battery saves, and .s96 for save states. The .srm file is compatible with other emulators so that's what you'll want to transfer along with the rom file. Once you have modified it and copy it back to your Xoom, make sure ...

Ok, here's the long awaited source coderelease of version 1.4.0
Note there are extra restrictions placed on distribution since it's combined with my own GPL code. However, I can grant exceptions if any devs want to distribute their own builds upon request.

I've seen it happen on that ipad with what may have been a previous release but it doesn't seem to happen on iPhone 4. Figured it out, was activating the orientation sensor before the app finished initializing. This is fixed in 1.4.0 which should be in Cydia in the coming days (just posted it for A...

An ARMv6 CPU + Adreno 200 GPU usually equals poor performance with the app. The GPU in particular appears to be very slow at uploading textures with OpenGL so try to run the newest Android version possible to take advantage of any driver optimizations. I'm doing research on some alternate methods to...

Some good news for iOS users experiencing Bluetooth lag. I've found the source of the problem in BTstack and made some modifications to greatly minimize the chance of it happening. Still need to do more testing but as a stress test I've tried spinning around the analog sticks on the Classic Controll...

heh wow... so much for the platform that is about free and open source when you still have to jump through hoops to get it to work huh? Well, it wouldn't be as much of a problem if people could freely update to the current version of Android but that's only possible on select devices. For the rest ...

For anyone getting hard lockups or reboots, these are bugs in your phone's kernel/OS code and are not caused by Snes9x EX itself. All Android apps runs with restricted privileges and normally cannot cause the OS to hang. First off, be sure you have tested the app on the newest Android version availa...

Oh sorry, you meant the actual menu in Chrono Trigger itself. It sounds like a mulit-touch problem specific to your device. Since Up is in line with the X button horizontally and B is in line vertically, you screen might be sending the wrong coordinates if it's not designed to handle 2 distinct poin...

I have excatly same problem, up + b always opens menu. I'm using HTC Desire with android 2.2. And yes, on-screen controls are in the default layout. Hmm, the only way the menu opens from the touch screen is by touching the corner hot-spot (upper right with the default layout). I'm releasing 1.3.30 ...

Similar to the other user posting about the Android Comet phone, the Galaxy Ace also uses and older-gen ARMv6 CPU though not quite as slow. There are two possible sources of slowdown, either the CPU isn't fast enough, or the GPU has a bandwidth issue, as seems to be the case on the Nexus One with it...

I want to move game states from my android phone to my computer when being at home in order to play at the bigger screen. Copying the .s96 files to the computer and then trying to load them in Snes 9x 1.43 is not working. When saving in Snes 9x, the files extension is .001 .002 etc. Are you sure yo...

Re: Doesn't seem to respond to multi touch
It doesn't seem to be responding even when I turn multi touch on. Any ideas? Just wanted to make a small clarification, the "Multitap" option does not refer to using multiple fingers at once but the SNES 5-player adapter. It should remain off unless you specifically need it since some gam...
