Re: Shaders reporting errors when I attempt to use them
Can't edit my post. ok so I found something interesting. When downloading the CGs the file contents are totally different from copying and pasting the code from the website. I just c/p and now the shaders work with no errors. anyone else have similar experiences?

Shaders reporting errors when I attempt to use them
I'm using SNES 9X for windows. I'm using windows 7 64 bit I've tried using both the 32 bit version and 64 bit version of SNES9x. I've placed the right dlls in the snes9x folders and downloaded a bunch of different CG files. Each one reports the same errors (2 pages worth) it seems to be an issue wit...

Thanks for the input, Natsumerio. that's exactly what I was looking for. That version of SNES9X you linked me to is great as well, i resorted to using 1.51 before because I needed the netplay features and 1.52 wasn't able to keep up. this is perfect. I get a better picture and sound than I did in 1....

joy to key will work with any controller that windows recognizes, even a dualshock 3 via motion in joy. just use the gamepad control panel to find out your button layout and joy2key will take care of the rest. just make sure you have joy2key open when you use SNES 9x and disable your controller with...

This is a common issue with cheap keyboards. You don't necessarily have to bind L and R to the same key - you just have to bind them to keys that don't conflict with each other. Try using homerow keys (ASDFJKL) as most keyboards will allow you to press these simultaneously. Barring that, try bindin...

Netplay issues
I know snes9x is inherently laggy, but i can get it to work just fine in 1.51 while 1.52 is horrendous. I'm assuming its the new image filtering or something. anyway I'm fine using 1.51, but there's ugly on screen display showing the server frame rate. is there any way to get rid of it or a fix for ...

dumb-ish question about graphics
I couldn't find this in the forms vis search so forgive me if I missed it somehow. But here it is: I just switched to a PC from an 8 y/o mac. I always had it set to super2xsai for image processing cause it seemed to look smoothest and my only real option was open GL. sadly open GL doesn't seem to be...
