There's a bazillion different factors that could contribute to the difference. First off, the Xbox doesn't have anything running on it besides the emulator and the hypervisor. The PC, on the other hand, has a buttload of stuff running in the background that could soak up CPU time and slow down the e...

Did you copy over -every- file? If you only copied the ROM from the PS3 back to your phone, the saves won't be included. What you have to do is copy the .srm file - and it might be kept in a different place than the ROM itself on the PS3.

Cheats aren't implemented yet for Android. There's a good chance it'll be in the next version.

Cheats aren't available for the Android version yet.

You'll have to do something about your controls. Have you tried using a wiimote yet? (If wiimote controls are slow to respond, turn frameskip up to 1.)

If you want to smooth it out and aren't worried about losing frames, try putting the frameskip at 1. That'll give the phone a bit of extra time to process what's going on, but will reduce your display to 30 frames per second. It might get you what you want.

First, you need a method to use homebrew software on the DS. Typically this means you should get a Micro SD adaptor, like the R4 or the Supercard. There are websites devoted entirely to homebrew on the DS; in particular, if you want emulators, PocketHeaven's wiki is a good place to start. http://www...

Hah, alright. That's a problem that'll probably be fixed soon; in the meantime, you'll have to make do with the frameskip, or try to find another method to get the input from your Classic controller.

One of the major recent changes in SNES9x was a completely new audio core, which is much more accurate than the old one.

The drawback is that it needs a more powerful computer.

I do remember seeing someone posting a solution to lagging input. Try putting the frameskip on 1.

The only OS that the wiimote is officially supported on is the one on the Wii itself. Everything else is unofficial. That said, it should work on SNES9x. However, there's a good chance it's related to not being able to save your settings. Have you tried removing SNES9x completely and re-installing it?

Jungle Book timing issues, screen flashes black

When emulating the game Jungle Book with version 1.53 of SNES9x, upon starting the first level, the screen flickers black multiple times per second. This issue apparently didn't occur in previous versions of SNES9x. Tested on Windows XP. Reposted from another topic to make the title more appropriate...

First thing to try:

Go into the SNES9x directory and rename your snes9x.conf file to snes9x.bak - then try running the emulator. It's possible you wound up with some configuration that your computer doesn't like - fullscreen with an improper resolution or something like that.

How to fix it is... wait for a patch.

It looks like a timing issue, and I don't see any way to change emulator settings to fix it.

The current dev team doesn't have control of the forums or website. Eventually that will change.

To fix your sound problems, try this test build:

Don't .... don't expect anything any time soon. Accuracy is one of the major current focuses of SNES9x, and the more accurate you get, the trickier it is to convince the system to play well across the internet due to timing issues, et cetera.
