what does the spelling have to do with the folder?

i'm using an SD card, sorry for misspeaking. all i know is that i set up a "saves" folder inside of the snes9x gx folder and it won't load. do i need to make folders inside of that for each rom or something?

so, does anybody even check this board ever? it seems like a pretty low traffic area. i could really use some in depth help with this guys, it's breaking my heart that i have all these games accessible to me but can't fully enjoy them.

Whenever I try to save something pops up and says "Error opening SD:/snes9xgx/saves". Does anyone know what's wrong? The way I have the SD card set up is apps: snes9xgx: then inside of that is boot.dol, icon.png, meta.xml, readme.txt, roms (with my two roms inside), and saves. Is it set up...
