Re: Snes9x 1.54
Glad to see this still being worked on
I'll ask around to see if a Wii U port can be made since the console can run a kernel exploit.

Re: Snes9x EX+ Galaxy S4 Sound/Audio Delay/Lag
Strange, the forums won't let me edit my posts. Anyways, an addendum, people post on here with their issues (including mine with Snes9x not working with triple buffer or v-sync) as well as the sync game to audio never saves, but who am I to kid around? These forums are just as inactive as Zsnes 2.0....

Re: Snes9x EX+ Galaxy S4 Sound/Audio Delay/Lag
...or it could just be nobody's run into your exact issue. Or it could be that these forums are more inactive than Zsnes. Is that why the thread I made last week about the Snes9x vsync issues and audio sync not saving has like 250 views and no responses? Because, there's like, no point in posting i...

Re: Snes9x EX+ Galaxy S4 Sound/Audio Delay/Lag
Don't bother, there's really no one to answer our questions (just made a thread myself) only to have it fall on deaf ears.

Wow, these parts sure are active, and to think I was beginning to wonder if this place was dead! 190+ views and not a single response....not surprised.

Snes9x not saving certain settings
Yeah, got a couple of interesting issues on Snes9x 1.53 (none of those GIT builds hosted on EmuCR, I gave up on there). First issue: Having either vsync and/or triple buffering on, I see "skipping" in what should be an otherwise smooth framerate, such as when something is scrolling along t...

Re: An option to disable gaussian sound interpolation
Ouch indeed. But it still stands, I doubt they will take the time to remove said interpolation; they're busy enough as it is

Re: An option to disable gaussian sound interpolation
AFAIK, Snes uses 16-bit audio and not 8-bit, but I digress. Older Snes9x versions had the option, but not since the super-accurate core was implemented. And no, there would be no sense in removing the accurate core either just so interpolation can be disabled.

Re: An option to disable gaussian sound interpolation
to find a reasonable answer on the issue! the reasonable answer is that "Gaussian" is part of the SNES chip sound. what is the purpose to remove that part of the sound emulation ? you don't like the real SNES sound ? Apparently not, I find his request to be most perplexing. Gaussian was p...

Re: Terrible sound skipping
Changing the buffer size in the sound settings to 128 or 160 ms/milliseconds will help and the audio driver to XAudio2 will help if you're Windows 7

Re: An option to disable gaussian sound interpolation
Snes9x uses the same algorithms/emulation as Bsnes and is therefore 1;1 to a real Snes console. Gaussian is the same mode used as the PSX, but at 32000 Hz and not 44100 Hz. My ears are very sensitive and I can assure you it sounds exactly how a real Snes would sound. I honestly don't see any use to ...

Re: Snes9xGX 4.3.2 emulator for WII no save
I'm very irritated right now after putting about 5 hours on a game to just lose it because this wii emulator cannot save games. When I came back there was no save file, my work was gone. I thought maybe I screwed up or something so I tried it again, I saved in game and restarted my wii and when I c...

No you're fine, apparently we got people playing mod when they didn't know... Yeah I guess that was bound to happen. I just don't want to deal with another non...
