This is interesting. I experienced lag in Snes9x as it started but then it recovered a few seconds later and hasn't been an issue since. Just to put in my 2 cents here, it's working fine for me too. Haven't come across any issues to complain about other than the weird requirement for joypad configuration but that's not a game-breaking issue.

I made an error with this report. I see now that in order to configure the joypad you must disable it first, then re-enable it after configuring it. A bit of a flaw in the design imo but at least I can now use my joypad.

Better late than never! You shouldn't need a manual to use a gamepad. You just plug it in and Windows should automatically detect it. You'll need to go into the Joypad Configuration, make sure Joypad #1 is unchecked, then configure the joypad buttons. Once you've done that then check Joypad #1 and i...
