Re: Jungle Book timing issues, screen flashes black
I'm having this same issue with Jungle Book.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and Snes9x version 1.53, GTK+ port version: 82 (for Linux).

Snes9x and Ubuntu 14.04 lts
Hello everyone, About 4 months ago, I tried to put Snes9x on 2 different Ubuntu computers running Ubuntu 14.04 lts. Snes9x wouldn't work on either. However, if I put Snes9x on my Ubuntu 12.04 lts computer, it works great. Is anyone aware of a problem with 14.04 and Snes9x or does anyone here use 14....

Re: Donkey Kong Country - intermittent lag
I think I may have fixed it. I had "OpenGL" selected. I deselected that and chose "use software scaler" and it appears to be running the game great now.
I suspect this means I probably don't have an OpenGL driver, eh?

Donkey Kong Country - intermittent lag
Hi,
I'm running Ubuntu Linux on an Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 gigs ram.
I played a lot of mario games with no log; however, playing Donkey Kong Country, I get occasional lags and slowing down of the game and music.
Is there anything I can try to remedy this?

Mario Talks in Super Mario Brothers 3
I've been playing Super Mario Brothers 3 on the Snes9x (more specifically Super Mario All Stars that has the game in it). I needed some help, so I watched a walkthrough video on youtube of someone playing the levels I needed to clear. I noticed that on their video, Mario would talk from time to time...

Save State and Version questions
Hello everyone, This is my first post here. I'm using Snes9x in Ubuntu Linux 12.04 Question 1: Is there a quicker way to save the state of a game other than going to file->save state. This is difficult to do while playing a game and often I lose time in a level when I do this repeatedly. Quesetion 2...
