Linux v1.19 re-released |
 |
Just did a quick update to the released Linux binaries to fix the __register_frame_info undefined symbol problem when running on Redhat Linux.
If you're getting this problem, download the Linux v1.19 release again, sorry. Blame the egcs compiler, not me!

 |
Well, as reported earlier, the Linux version has been updated to v1.19. The download page has now also been updated and Gary will be able to update the download page himself in the future.

When I uploaded the redesigned site I forgot the MacOS port, sorry about that. It's fixed now.

Linux Snes9x v1.19 is out (sort of!) |
 |
Yep, its finally here. Initial 3dfx support, faster screen rendering on most games, sprite priority problems finally fixed, software z-buffer, sound fixes, 4096 SNES colour mode, special SPC700 cycle timing for some games, multiple colour window bug fixes, ROM check sum validation (check for corrupt/hacked ROMs), and lots of other emulation bug fixes.
I don't have permission to update the download web pages at the moment so until Jerremy fixes that you'll have to download it from the link here.
Note that this release is for Linux glibc (libc6) systems only. I don't have access to a libc5 system at the moment to build a libc5 binary.
